Flexible Tax Identification Fields in KYB Workflows

← Back to changelog

We’ve enhanced KYB workflow configuration by introducing dedicated tax identification fields, allowing businesses to collect the most relevant tax information based on their market and regulatory requirements. Previously, KYB workflows relied on a single Tax Identification Number (TIN) field, which could create confusion in regions where different tax identifiers are commonly used. With this update, partners can now select the tax identification type that best matches their business needs.

What’s new?
  • Added a dedicated Tax Identification section within KYB workflow configuration.
  • Choose from multiple system-supported tax identification types, including VAT Number, EIN, TIN, and Tax ID Number.
  • Display the selected tax identification field directly to end users during the verification process.
  • Improved flexibility for businesses operating across different markets and jurisdictions.
  • Existing workflow configurations are automatically migrated to preserve current functionality.
Benefits

Different countries and industries often rely on different tax identification standards. This enhancement allows businesses to collect the most appropriate tax information while providing a clearer onboarding experience for end users.
