iDenfy adds MojeID to its identity verification platform for the Czech market

MojeID’s bank-backed digital identity onboarding workflow is now live on iDenfy’s eIDV system

London, United Kingdom (July 20, 2026)

iDenfy, the global RegTech solution provider that delivers identity verification and fraud prevention tools, has implemented MojeID into its electronic identity verification software. The addition of the new digital ID or non-document verification method for the Czech market will be a native alternative solution for businesses to verify Czech citizens using their standard payment information via iDenfy’s official MojeID integration without asking for a physical document during their onboarding process.

MojeID is a banking-based identity verification solution used particularly in the Czech Republic, and it now serves 1.3 million people. With a total approximate population of 10.5 million, about 12 percent of the Czech population has access to public and government services, e-banking sites, and much more through a single trusted identification document. In addition, MojeID is certified on eIDAS Level of Assurance Substantial, based on the OIDC protocol, and carries official legal authority for multiple verification and onboarding needs, asking the user to present the first name, last name, and date of birth of a Czech user for the basic KYC requirement result.

As defined by Regulation (EU) 2024/1183, each of the EU 27 will have to implement the EU Digital Identity Wallet for citizens and residents by the end of 2026. Every bank, payment, and electronic money institution will have to support wallet-based credentials as Strong Customer Authentication measures. MojeID’s existing infrastructure is already aligned with those requirements at the Substantial assurance level.

Research from Fenergo shows that businesses globally spend $72.9 million per year on AML and KYC compliance while simultaneously losing clients to slow or friction-heavy onboarding flows. For businesses serving Czech users, an inability to process a bank-backed credential means introducing unnecessary document steps into an onboarding flow for a population that already has a trusted, government-recognized alternative available.

iDenfy’s broader non-document verification framework, which now includes MojeID, was built to operate alongside the platform’s standard document-based KYC flow. Businesses can configure the platform to automatically route users to an electronic identity verification path when traditional document capture is unavailable or produces insufficient image quality, a scenario that iDenfy’s internal data consistently shows as a recurring source of session drop-off. The combined flow is available to all iDenfy clients at no additional cost and can be activated in the dashboard settings without any additional integration work.

“Bank-backed digital identity in the Czech Republic, with over 1.1 million users, has already adopted MojeID as its standard credential to access both public and private sector services online. Our clients serving that market can now meet Czech users on those terms and present a verification path that feels familiar and requires no additional physical document capture at the point of onboarding,” said Domantas Ciulde, the CEO of iDenfy.

It is worth mentioning that iDenfy’s identity verification platform currently covers over 16,000+ government-issued documents across over 200+ countries and territories. The addition of MojeID extends the current list of banks that provide a non-document option to verify business users, handling both document-based and credential-based identity presentation within a single system. If the case is not solved automatically, it is reported to iDenfy’s internal compliance review team, which works 24/7 to review identities and fix any onboarding issues.

“MojeID has an eIDAS Level of Assurance and is legally recognized under EU regulation. For our clients, adding MojeID is not just an onboarding improvement. It is a specialized compliance-grade solution for one of Central Europe’s most actively developing digital identity markets,” added Domantas Ciulde, CEO of iDenfy.

MojeID support is available now across iDenfy’s identity verification platform. For integration documentation and a full list of supported electronic identity methods, visit https://eid.idenfy.com/.
